The mid-parental height provides an estimate of the final adult height. From my standpoint as a prior Endocrinologist (children’s hormone doctor), it is important to note actual height can vary due to other factors such as genetics, nutrition and health. It also matters if you or your partner was an early or late bloomer in terms of puberty.

GIRLS

(Father's height (in) + Mother's height (in) +5) / 2
